Our website may contain external links from time to time we are no responsible for the content accuracy and privacy practises of these sites.

By providing us your information you warrant you are over the age of 16 years old.

‘Red Lion Hospitality’ is the controller of this information and we are responsible for your personal data.

Types of Data collected

Personal data is any means of information in which an individual can be identified. We collect certain types of personal data in different aspects of the business;

Table Bookings; Name, Contact number or email address

Room reservations; Name, Telephone number, Email address, Card details (compliant with pci-dss).  Stored securely until your booking and destroyed after departure.

Bookings made via our website are through our agent eviivo, and personal details are collected by eviivo directly. We have no access to these personal details other than we can access email addresses and contact numbers.

Among the types of Personal Data that this Application collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: Cookies and Usage Data.

Complete details on each type of Personal Data collected are provided in the dedicated sections of this privacy policy or by specific explanation texts displayed prior to the Data collection.

The Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using this Application.

All Data requested by this Application is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for this Application to provide its services. In cases where this Application specifically states that some Data is not mandatory, Users are free not to communicate this Data without any consequences on the availability or the functioning of the service.

Users who are uncertain about which Personal Data is mandatory are welcome to contact the Owner.

We collect information directly from you as a customer whether this is by telephone, email or face to face.

The use of the collected Data

We only use your personal data to make contact between you and us. This could be in relation to your upcoming visit to us. This is often achieved by email or phone.

Card details for accommodation are only charged on two occasions;

  1. When full permission is given by the card owner in advance i.e. for business stay.
  2. Or the accommodation is cancelled within the cancellation policy so full balance is taken from the card provided at booking.

We may from time to time send you promotional information about upcoming events. If you would like to not receive these please email us at info@theoldredlion.co.uk and we will withdraw you form marketing.

We do not share any personal data with third parties. Bookings are entered into our booking agent and confirmations may show from ‘eviivo’.

We will only share your information when required to by law.
