When you dine in our comfortable and airy restaurant, which seats up to 50 guests, you are surrounded by a careful blend of modern and traditional décor. From the Yorkshire stone floors and log burners to our unique log wall, incorporating 13 different tree species, and a lit faux green wall, we have created a warm and inviting atmosphere for you to enjoy your meal.
But a beautiful setting is only half the story; the real star of the show is the food on your plate and local produce is where it’s at.
Fresh, Home-Made, and Local
All our dishes are home-made and cooked to order, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. We are incredibly proud to support local farmers and producers who share our passion for high-quality food.
Our meats are a point of particular pride. To ensure maximum flavour and tenderness, all of our beef and traditional cuts are hung for 21 days or more. To achieve this consistent quality, we partner with trusted local suppliers:
- Traymoor: A fantastic local butcher helping us bring premium cuts to your table.
- Priors Hall Farm: Sourcing incredible meats directly from the farm to ensure the best for our guests.
Beyond the Butcher
Our commitment to local sourcing extends well beyond our meat suppliers.
- Fish: Sourced fresh through Stickleback.
- Fruit & Vegetables: We use Accent Fresh to supply our seasonal, local produce.
- Beer: Our pints are poured fresh from Greene King, based just down the road in Bury St. Edmunds.
Something for Everyone
Because our ingredients are so fresh, our menu changes regularly. Every Sunday, we serve our famous plated roasts alongside a dedicated Sunday menu.
We also believe great pub food should be enjoyed by everyone. Our menu includes a brilliant range of vegetarian and vegan choices, with starters, main courses, and desserts designed to cater to all tastes. If you have any specific dietary requirements, simply let us know in advance and we will do our absolute best to accommodate you.
